Open to students entering grades K-8.
Must have one or more years playing experience.

Open to students in grades 6-12.
Must be at Suzuki Book 3 or above.

GENERAL INFORMATION: The purpose of the camp is to provide each student an enriching summer experience and performance opportunity. The camp will feature a daily mini-private lesson in the form of a masterclass, daily small group ensemble, daily large group class, an elective if you choose to have one, and afternoon and evening recitals. Parents must attend with child.

APPLICATION: Application and payment deadline is May 1, 2011. Please be advised that there are a limited number of spaces for each instrument, so please submit applications early. Anyone applying after the deadline will be placed in the program if there are vacancies. If there are no vacancies, the applicant will be placed on a waiting list.  Applications may be mailed to Theresa Britt, 603 Bell St., Fredericksburg, TX, 78624.

LOCATION: The camp will be hosted on several campus including the Fredericksburg United Methodist Church located at 1800 N. Llano in Fredericksburg, TX.

TUITION: Tuition for the workshop will be $250 per student. Checks may be made payable to the Fredericksburg Community Orchestras. Payment is due by May 1, 2011.

STUDENTS NEED TO BRING: Instruments, pencils, and a good attitude to learn, any required accessories needed.

ATTENDANCE: Attendance on each day of the camp is required in order for students to be allowed to participate in the final concert. In case of illness, you must notify Camp Director, Theresa Britt at (806) 549-2483 prior to the start of class that day. No refunds will be made for missed classes.

FINAL CONCERT: A final concert will be presented on Saturday June 11 at 3 p.m. in the Sanctuary of the Fredericksburg United Methodist Church.

HOUSING: Local bed and breakfasts and a variety of other hotels will be available during the workshop. Please contact First Class Bed and Breakfast for more information or use your favorite online hotel booking service.

DINING:  Students may bring a sack lunch or families may leave and visit several restaurants in the area.
