Our festival orchestra concert will be at 7 p.m. on June 27, 2026 at St. Joseph’s Halle and will feature violinist Fiona Shea performing the Brahms Violin Concerto, Dvorak’s Festival March, Borodin’s Polovtsian Dances, and The Sound of Music arranged by Robert Russell Bennett.

FSMI: Trio Aurora & String Faculty Concert

The Fredericksburg Summer Music Institute string faculty perform. Trio Aurora is comprised of Dr. Fagner Rocha (violin), Dr. Daria Miskiewicz (cello), and Dr. Eun Mi Lee (piano). Other performers include artist faculty Fiona Shea, Stephanie Westney, Jennifer Clark, and Mark Morton.

FSMI: Woodwind & Brass Faculty Concert

The Fredericksburg Summer Music Institute woodwind and brass faculty will perform a concert on Wednesday, June 24, 2026 at 7 p.m. at Rock Box Theater. The concert will feature our esteemed artist faculty Mezraq Ramli (oboe), Daniel Pardo (flute), Vanguel Tangarov (clarinet), Sarah Wildey-Richmond (bassoon), Guglielmo Manfredi (horn), Mary Thornton (trumpet), JD Handshoe (Trombone) and Arturo Galvan (Tuba).

The Fredericksburg Summer Music Institute featured soloists will present a concert on Thursday, June 25, 2026 at 7 p.m. at St. Joseph’s Halle. Almost 60 college students from all across the country will join us for a week of concerts, symphonic rehearsals, and classes with world class music professors.

The Fredericksburg Summer Music Institute featured chamber ensembles will present a concert on Friday, June 26, 2026 at 7 p.m. at RockBox Theater. Almost 60 college students from all across the country will join us for a week of concerts, symphonic rehearsals, and classes with world class music professors.

Concerts from June 23-26 will include a variety of Chamber Music performances. Final festival concert will be Saturday, June 27, 2026 and features our festival orchestra and violin soloist Fiona Shea.

$100 pass allows you to attend all festival concerts.
